Afrique Sogue is a West African percussion and dance company rooted in Manding traditions of Guinea and the greater West African region.

Through drum and dance, we preserve ancestral rhythms while igniting connection, cultural understanding, and collective joy through performance, education, and community engagement.

Online Drum & Dance Study

Afrique Sogue is developing a subscription-based online learning platform featuring West African drumming and dance instruction led by Mohamed Lamine Bangoura. Through weekly video content and guided study, students will be able to learn, practice, and stay connected to the rhythms wherever they are.

Afrique Sogue presents live West African drumming and dance performances for festivals, schools, private events, and community gatherings. Artistic Director Mohamed Lamine Bangoura is currently traveling and touring throughout Africa, deepening cultural exchange and artistic collaboration. Touring and performance engagements continue internationally and in the United States.
